art? what's that? I've been cleaning out my house- getting rid of old furniture, junk, old papers....lots to the recycle, lots to Goodwill, some to friends in need....I am going to be putting in a spare bed in the *spare bed room*....where my puter *office* is....so now you can come visit and not have to sleep on the sofa-bed (which is queen size and actually pretty comfy!)lol
I seem to need to clear out the junk of nearly 40 years marriage (I'll hang on to DH just a bit longer, I guess - snort!) and feel like I have a little freedom to move in this little house...it must be my almost 60 bd that is getting me ready for the next phase of living...
Hope you get a neuro doc who will treat you and your body with dignity and skill and will get you the relief of pain!!

I think I'm at the same place of the longer I go without doing any art, the harder it is to get back to it. :(

So if we know that it's hard to get back to making art when we take a break--why on earth do we keep taking a break? Wish I knew the answer to that one.

The doc said it was ok to go back to work and assured me that I couldn't injure the knee by doing so-but did warn me that it was going to hurt. Where I pushed it was by working too many days in a row right away-but retail at Christmas, there's not much choice.
I'm jealous you have sun:)
