Too late for this one, but you can print it out on the wrong side(dull)of the transparency sheet and spray with a fixative to set the ink. I like this one! It looks "Spring-y"!!!

I thought the dull side was the right side! I made a real mess out of printing on the shiny side once.

i'd try gel medium on a scrap piece and see how that looks. but i think you would see the brush marks. you could also try sandpaper, and that would probably be cool in it's own right. or maybe cover the transparency with a second sheet, dull side out. i like the idea of printing on the wrong side, but if it were me, i'd probably smudge it when i went to get the fixative.

I accidentally printed on the wrong side once, and made a real mess out of it. Although it did ultimately make a very painterly looking transfer when I laid it onto a piece of paper. I do like the sandpaper idea and thought of trying that, but will try it on a practice piece first.

Try matte spray fixative. Sometimes it makes the surface a little grainy, so be sure you test to see if you like the effect.

Ah, good idea! I'd much rather have grainy than shiny, so I'll give that a try-thanks!
