I've finally managed to go through my entire rec list and checked which links still work and which don't. I haven't updated the links yet, but I will do that very soon. There are a couple of stories, though, which I can't find anymore. Does anybody know where I could find them? I've looked in various archives, and Googled for them, but I just can't ( Read more... )

And I have "When Furniture Goes Bad" bookmarked as this link. Don't know if that's the right story, though. The author is listed as IckleRonniekins.

Ooh, thanks for the "Furniture..." link! It's the same fic, YAY! :D

Thanks for the "Berlin..." link too. If nothing else, I can always use the cache page, since it seems that the fic got lost and wasn't deleted on purpose... :/

For The Handsome Stranger, you'll have to friend dragon_charmer. She's not archiving anywhere else but on LJ at the moment as far as I know.

I know. :) I can read most of these f-locked fics, but for the rec list I'd also like to find links that are unlocked (if possible), so that others can read them too. :D

I'm no help :( I can tell you for sure though that The Ol' Switcheroo and The Gnostic Crane are nowhere else. I tried to find the former unlocked and didn't, and Rinsbane posts only to her journal and it's locked.

Try some obscure sites like Bottom Draco Eporium or Malfoy Slash Archive. Or Noire Sensus. Or Ashwinder sub-domains. Although I doubt any of these fics are there.

I made a list of places where the authors on my rec list archive a few months ago, so I checked in all of those places, and I couldn't find the fics there. But it's possible that's changed a bit now, so I'll go check those archives again. Thanks. :D
