there's too much over-consumption with music these days; things have become so accessible that you can suddenly have 10 new albums at your fingertips in an instant, and our A.D.D generation skips between them rapidly, with the modern youth trend of knowing lots of music but not in any degree of detail or with any significant passion ( Read more... )

I am serially monogomous. Terribly attention span deprived but then desperately obsessive too. I am knee deep in Two Suns by Bat for Lashes at the moment. Constantly listening to it I am and have been intermittently since I got it. I do largely agree with you but then I am totally able to be obsessively into lots of things at the same time.

BTW

Does you haff a lastfm?
I find them so interesting but then I like graphs and tables of musical information which may well be peculiar.
