I'm in the mood to reflect and appreciate what is often taken for granted by women, especially my younger generation, these days. Did you know that back in B.C days, when a woman had her period or gave birth to a child, she had to be veiled and sent into a corner because she was considered "unclean". 40 days if it was a boy, and a double, 80 days

It's so cool to know that I can be all passionate feminist (though certainly not feminazi) with you!
I did not know about the 40/80 days thing- How crazy! And a little more than scary.
We women have made it far--- more should appreciate.
