It's true that terrible things have happened under our watch (Abu Ghraib comes to mind). War is all hell, and does terrible things to the survivors as well as the casualties.
But all of the items on your list still stand as far worse horrors, and a speedy execution can certainly be seen as a form of mercy rather than a more exact form of justice.
He was tried by his own people. He was executed by his own people. The U.S. if anything was trying to get the Iraqi goverment to put of his death a little bit for fear of causing more violence.
Meh. Whatever. Some people are just born with half a brain cell.
People who say things like this young lady here have no idea what is really going on and just want attention.
NOw that's just not true - I'll bet those whiny bitches grandparents were made of sterner stuff and would have been glad to see hitler gone from the world.
