So I discover today that if our baby is born premature, the hospital will not let us take her home until we've taken an infant CPR course. This is purely hypothetical, we aren't experiencing any problems and have no reason to expect her to be premature. first as population increases your freedoms decrease. It is annoying, but it is just the way it is.
second, Laws are usually not writen because of people like you. they usually writen cause some dumb shit who does some terminally stupid and swears they didn't know and someone should have told them.

People still in their minority should have someone making sure their parents don't kill them before they turn 18, at which point they should be able to do as they wish.
Now, I think the infant CPR thing is going too far - I mean, what next? Going to have to pass your EMT once the kids can walk?

Out of curiosity, on what basis would the hospital refuse to allow you to take your child home? Is there some strange bit of Georgia law that gives them custodial rights?
