Oh my. Not Andria, too. My roommate Carrie "won" the exact same trip and they conned her into using her credit card to pay for some of the expenses up front, but she got too weirded out by it and called her visa company to cancel it. That's a lot of stupid fees coming out for "winning" a trip isn't it? Can you say scammed? But, oh well, hopefully everything works out for you. I just told my roommate about this entry and she's very curious that you guys are going to go through with it. Ha. She wants to know what the catch is, so let us know, k? lol
Well apparently, since they're opening the 1000th Ramada Hotel they're giving out free trips as a promotional thing. The catch is that you have to pay the weird fees up front for like docking fees (for the cruise) and taxes and weird crap like that as well as you have to buy your plane tickets. Soooo... basically you're still going to end up spending like $1000 but everything else is taken care of, like the hotels and cruise. Make sense?
Well that is what Andria told me anyways... Hopefully it all works out.
Hmm, yeah. Anyway, Carrie was a little weirded out by it because they called one night and said, you might win a trip. Then the next night they called back saying she did win the trip. She called them twice to see if it was a prank but in the end she just didn't want that money coming off her credit card. Since that night I've been seeing Ramada Hotels crap everywhere. Nothing about the trips, though.
