Saw Mindmummy rough cut for the first time the other night. Ridiculous special effects extravaganza. Kinda weird because it made so much sense. My favorite part was when the blinds in the kitchen raise by themselves to reveal the monitor of Brobot 2000 laughing hysterically after the curse doesn't work. RIDICULOUS

my family had a Cockatoo for 10 years, but he got kind of crazy/neurotic and started pulling out his feathers... he was so noisy that my stepdad made my mom find another home for him, but he died a few years ago due to a heart attack poor thing.
anywy i have an especially close connection to birds
my mom and i used to work for the state (licensed) to rehab wild baby and injured birds.. once we have @60 in the house at once when i was in junior high.
birds can be quite a responsibility! and you have to find someone to care for him/her when you are out of town
