I have yet to see the Moore doc.... but am definitely excited to do so. However, as with Bowling For Columbine...I do expect a lot of bias...cropping of news...and half-truths. This is Moore's style...and such is the plight of many documentaries. So...political differences aside, I do agree with you on that matter.
Now, some of your protestwarrior signs....another story. That's neither here nor there I suppose.
I'll let it all slide seeing as 1) I've been up since 4 a.m. doing fact checks for the new Rolling Stone album guide... 2) My limit for political conversations has been reached (for the week anyways) and 3) Your warm words made me smile.
How could i let a little matter like political party affiliation taint my opinion of an already amazing human being?

1. Do you have a link or source on the information that O'Reilly, Hannity, and Limbaugh asked Moore to do the interviews? I listen to O'Reilly on the radio and I know that if Moore had declined an interview, O'Reilly would have been gloating about how Moore was scared. Plus, for Rush, I"m sure you meant radio, since Rush doesn't have a TV show. I'm not saying you're lying by any means, but I've learned never to take anything at face value.
2. I find some of your Saddam and Iraq slogans a little ironic, seeing as how in the 80's, the government really didn't seem to care what Saddam was doing to his own people, since he was our ally.

1. O'Reilly on Monday during a breif news stint on FoxNews stated the fact about Michale Moore not accepting his bid on a Televised discussion..There is actually some info about it on Moore's personal webpage..As for the Limbaugh situation..I did mean TV, MSNBC wished to persue Moore's idea of a publicised debate between possibly the most conservative, and most liberal people in America. More's contacts refused comment, and never returned the calls of the news agency

Thanks for the info. For the record, I think Moore's pretty much a wimp who can't take criticism.
And I'm sorry that you hate me since you don't even know me. And I still say that no matter what the situation was in the 80's, I hear people night and day talking about the attrocities that Saddam committed, without mentioning that we were allies with him at that time. It seems hypocritical to me that we pretty much looked the other way when he was of use to us and then, when we didn't need him, we start pointing out his evil deeds, and I don't dispute that they were evil.
I just guess when he's not doing them for us, they're more evil.
Wanted to say just a couple more things..I didnt mean to type that I hate people that use the arguement, I meant to type I hate that people use the arguement..Although I see your point in standing..I dont nessisarily agree w/ what happend then, but im glad we are doing something about it.
Amen..Like I said..Im completely for standing up for what one believes..If my opinion differs, ill state why in the most eloquent way I can based on the situation and issue..There is enough mudslinging in politics as it is..
