I don't know if it's just because I'm pregnant and extra-emotional, but this movie made me cry. It seems rather depressing at first, but the ending brightens the whole movie. There is a valuable message about parenting woven throughout the movie, as well. I just never really thought about the whole issue of letting go and watching your children

Have you and Aaron seen the movie "The Hurt Locker"? This is probably a random comment, but Joe and I saw it the other night, and I thought of you guys (being army folks and all). It's an excellent, excellent movie. Very realistic... it almost was like a documentary. It was also very intense, from start to finish, and there weren't really any side stories or anything like that, it was just very direct and real. If you haven't seen it and you like war movies, I highly recommend it. I will warn though--it is VERY intense. Be prepared to have your emotions screwed with.

Anyway... just thought I'd mention it :)
