“--urt!”

Kurt shrieked as he felt a hand on his shoulder and another tugging his noise-canceling headphones away from his ears.

“Uh, hey, sorry,” Wes said, trying not to laugh as a few of the bother boys in the study room snickered. “You need to go to the south lawn.”

“What?” Kurt asked, pausing his iPod. “Is this some sort of Warbler initiation? Because Blaine said there wasn't such a thin--”

“No, this isn't about the Warblers, I promise,” Wes said. “But it does involve Blaine, and that's really all I can say.” Wes nodded at Kurt and quickly made his way out the door.

Kurt spent just a few moments weighing his options - following Wes, ignoring him...and going to the south lawn. His curiosity won out, and he hurried back to his room to grab his coat and a scarf, then trekked to the other side of campus.

The memorial gazebo was lit up, Kurt noticed as he approached, and he heard the faint sounds of-a ukulele? He grinned and sped up. As he reached the gazebo, he saw Blaine-finally out of his Dalton uniform, with a ukulele. When he saw Kurt, he grinned and started singing.

“Love I get so lost, sometimes days pass and this emptiness fills my heart when I want to run away,” Blaine sang, and Kurt recognized the song immediately.

Blaine reached the chorus, “In your eyes, the light, the heat, in your eyes, I am complete--” before Kurt stopped him by tugging on his ukulele.

“Really? A throwback to the 80s?” Kurt asked, laughing.

“It worked for John Cusack,” Blaine said.

“I believe you mean Lloyd Dobler,” Kurt replied.

“Right,” Blaine said, stepping closer to Kurt. “So, was this totally lame and cheesy or adorable?”

“A little of all three,” Kurt said.

“Listen, I know you sorta already know that I like you,” Blaine started.

“I had my suspicions, but I was waiting to have them confirmed,” Kurt nodded.

“Consider them confirmed,” Blaine said, leaning into Kurt and kissing him.
