Random thing about me: I like to go to random countries overseas (but then you knew that already). I also like Ren Faire, dance, corsets, and shiny things. (but you already knew that too). I do not, however, like monkey brains a la mode. Apple pie a la mode, certainly. Almost any kind of pie. But simian grey matter just doesn't appeal to me for some reason. Not entirely sure why.

I hope that you're doing well, that you had a good Christmas/Solstice/Yule, and that your new year is full of bright opportunities for you.

Monkey's brains is a fav in Cantonese cuisine, at least that's what they say in "Clue." Never had it, as Cantonese food seems to be mostly too spicy for my sensitive palate.

Something that makes me happy is listening to the rain fall down on the window panes. Something about hearing that and listening to Enya or anything old thing that is easy listening is a joy for me. It's relaxing and on top of that, it's lovely.

Yah, I dyed my hair two days ago, saw it, and thought: oh god, I'm Snape. Must tell Andi. I wanted to take a pose like with my arm arched over my head, but I would have had to be farther away from the camera so all of my arm could be in the shot, and I thought I would be too small in the pic.

not really. My lj is a selective friends-only sort of deal, because usually I talk about really personal stuff, and emotional stuff. But I do sometimes post or comment on the ballerinas group. I got a B.A. in Dance two years ago. I love dance, especially ballet, and compared to most I know a fair amount about ballet history.
