I could go into the ideological problems I have with the concept of holidays in general and maybe determine a specific reason why I hate New Years the second most of all days, behind the Fourth of July. New Years, actually, may be my least favorite of all moments in a year

1) i'll admit to wondering how you're doing.
2) i tend to feel this way too, to a degree, on xmas and thanksgiving about 50% of the time. it's irrational and consuming. i hope tomorrow's better.

that's odd... I have this wierd memory of being really sad about new years as a kid about that age as well. strange...
