Here are some random findings from my trip.
Firstly, some zebra chocolate boxes. Note: on the left are koalas! Sorry this is out of focus:
Lookie at this sign in Las Vegas - Mother Lode! I nearly p'd myself LOL For those who don't have SHareCon zi
ne, you'll have to wait until the story times out, and then I'll post it online and you'll get the relevance. The Mother Lode is my contribution to the SHareCon zine...
"Swipe & Win" indeed LOL
Oh, the more I read on this sign...
I'd better stop.
Next!
Simply because this "spider" made an impression on me as a child, and because when I see it in those random "2nd unit" or "stock" shots of LA Airport on S&H, I'm reminded of "The white zone is for immediate loading an
d unloading of passengers only...". And can you believe it??? Okay, I know you can if you've been there recently, but they still use the same script for the voice-over!
I nearly p'd myself again! Thank heavens for continence aids.
My first ever flight in a prop plane. OMG. And then the Grand Canyon flight involved two more, in an even smaller plane, diverting around a thunder storm, of which I have video footage. Bu
t here's the prop plane from that first trip.
This US trip was a real adventure for me. Years ago, I was so afraid to fly I wouldn't even go interstate within Australia: now I ask for the window seat so I can watch it all.
This trip I took three prop plane flights and filmed a thunderstorm, riding each bump and sudden altitude drop with glee. It's better than a roller coaster ride.
And for the record, my "big adventure" was back-packing the UK and Europe in my 20s, solo. Somehow, this trip was harder. Must be getting soft in my old age...
