I am not going to take the apartment I saw today. It just... it's not a good fit for me. It's rather small - kind of claustrophobic. Amy put it best - "a glorified studio"... yeah. So, but, I'm now more energized in the ways of looking for an apartment, so yeah!

I'm glad you went and looked, that is the first step. It's like when I went out looking for a house. You are very nervous and unsure, but the more you look at the more comfortable you are. You also get a better feeling for what you want. Good luck in the hunting and have fun.
