golden compass

I just watched the golden compass - which was actually very good. i enjoyed it a lot. i dunno why it didn't do so well here - i actually enjoyed it more than some of the recent harry potters (omg! i know!). i really do hope they make the next two books into a movie - or else it will be really lame the way they ended the movie.

mmm... quite possibly.

however - i tend to look at movies & books as two different things - this way I can enjoy each for its own, instead of always comparing....

I have not seen this yet. I hope it comes on to HBO soon. Maybe I'll look on demand, it stinks not getting to the theatre that often.

We did go and see the new Indian Jones movie. I thought that was very well done.

I didn't like the new Indian Jones movie - I think it was retarded they went with the storyline they did. I know it kept with the whole time-frame and whatnot.. but it was dumb. I MEAN C'MON!!!

You didn't like the whole alien bit I take it. That really doesn't bother me, I guess being a sci-fi freak helps.

There are always a couple of things that aren't right. Like the magnetism of those skulls turns on and off when they want it to. It was so powerful it made the lights overhead lean towards it from 30 ft away, but metal only inches away was not always effected.
