i saw sum41 for the second time last night
pennywise/sum41/the vandals/bowling for soup
so, i woke up at like 7:30, left at 8, got to Luna Park at 9.
met quinn and what not, and lined up.
we where the only ones there until 1:30
so we went and sat where the bands drive in. and we where sitting there for hours, and we lost it, we where being the biggest idiots. one word "WOOOOSH",haha.
finally at around 5. a car pulls in, with a camera out the side, and we where all screaming at the camer and being idiots until one person yells "FUCK THAT WAS SUM41". we all ran after the car, and it stopped and deryck and steve where in the back, and cone and browntom, where in the middle and i waved at cone, and steve and they smiled and waved back, and quinn just went GO TO THE OTHERSIDE, and shoved me over, and i put my hand in the window and deryck grabbed it, and i started to cry, and he looked at me and smiled and started rubbing my hand, and i started crying even more.
and then they drove off, and quinn just came and gave me the biggest hug and i started BAWLING my eyes out, so we followed the van down more, and the camera guy was STILL filming us. and then we got chased by security
and then blah blah more line, blah.
we got in, FIRST PEOPLE IN. me and quinn just ran, bar right in the middle
bowling for soup come on. fucking awesome. played, punk rock 101.almost.girl all the bad guys want, 1985, and other sons i cant remember
the vandals where on next, and the mosh was so bad, i thought i was going to die, i was in so much pain. and the vandals came on, they where good, but i just wanted sum41, but the closed with Dont Stop Me Now, which was amazing.
when we first got in there was like 10 girls on the bar and girls around us, by the time the vandals had ended the only girls around us, was me, quinn, te'a and that girls who name i dont know
then the jackass music starts, sum41 run on stage, the mosh almost fucking killed me, but it was effin sum41 and i was right in the middle on the bar, i cant even remember there set, well i can remember a few songs, underclass hero, motovation, walking disater, pain for pleasure, in too deep, and others, i got pulled out towards the end, and i was limping and i was soaking wet, and i couldnt walk properly so i was hunched over, and like people still on the bar where high 5ing me and stuff, and then i could hardly move and this guy was like FUCK ARE YOU OKAY, and i looked at him and he had an effin bandage across his face, i was like JESUS. and i remember deryck stopping and being like "guys, i wanna be serious right now, a rare moment of seriousness, thankyou thankyou thankou thankyou thankyou THANKYOU
and then i went back in for the end of sum41, and i sat around in the loby with randoms, and then i saw brad, and he freaking picked me up, and then pennywise came on, so i went in the pit and it was crazy, i was the only girl, and freaking lost my shoe. and during pennywise before i left the pit, there was a fuck george bush chant for about 10 minutes
