 try one job which is 40 hours not including the unpaid half hour lunch break every day as well as, at least for a few weeks, the other job averaging 6-10 hours

Glass cuts not fun. Hopefully when you've had more practice you won't get as many?
More working time does take a lot of getting used to. Hope it goes well!
