If you had some wierd disease, and knew you were going to lose all sense of taste for the rest of your life at the end of the next 48 hours, what would you eat?

My Mom's uber fantastic marinated then grilled steak. And bourbon chicken from 12 Oaks Mall. And tiramisou from faire. And fried pickles. And the buffet from Piking Buffet. And kitchen-sink fried rice from Tai Kitchen. And Starbucks cappacino. And a Cinnabon. And then I'd probably burst, lol!

Can you tell I have food issues? ;-)

My main goal would be to try anything and everything I could find that I haven't eaten.
Other than that stuff, well, we all know I'm rather food-motivated. My list is too huge to add here.

Whatever it was, I wouldn't tell any of you.
Then ten years from now when you talk about how X tastes, I would say, Oh, I had that. It's terrible.

OMG - good thing I'm already fat...LOL

Medium Rare, well seasoned prime rib with au jus & horseradish
Grilled Shrimp & Scallops
Fresh Crab
Whatever fresh seafood I could get my hands on - grilled expertly by my handsome hubby.
Then, I'd have to raid someone's garden.
Cream & sugar corn (yellow & white) fresh off the stalk. Hell - just dip it into the boiling water right in the field.
Fresh tomatoes
Fresh grilled green, yellow & red peppers and mushrooms.
For desert, homemade whipped cream, freshly picked strawberries, apples (the really really green ones - the ones that bite you back!), raspberries and blackberries, with maybe a little dark chocolate fondue to dip them in.
And I can't forget my favorite drink - tequila sunrise.
I might also try to fit in some belgian waffles with strawberries, a nice spicy bloody mary with a pickle in it, and I'd have to make some of my homemade 7 cheese lasagna.
