I'm sick of this method being used by Dr.s....you go in, they check you, they prescribe you drugs to cover up the symptoms, without telling you what you have, and tell you to come back in a few days if your not feeling better....In a few days I might have been better anyways...Thanks for the help jack-ass

Sounds like you need a new doctor.

And horray for cough medicine with opioid analgesics! Tastes absolutely awful, but makes you feel much better for a few hours! =)

At least they didn't toss you some random antibiotics. I only take them when there's a real threat to my long-term well-being (like avoiding ear-infection-related deafness or pneumonia). I have a six-year-old niece that, thanks to modern medicine, has to be on an IV-drip when she gets sick because her body is resistant to all the antibiotics that come in pill form. It's so stupid.

Oh he did...I've got a prescription for antibiotics to "try" if I'm not feeling better in a few days.... I'm supposed to give them a shot, and if they don't work, come back.

Don't get me started on Dr.s...... Grrrr! Of course, if we passed some legislation to limit the kickbacks they get from the pharmaceutical companies....
