Hello! Oh, the end is beautiful, and tragic (just as it always is). There is the small semblance of comfort in knowing that they made their full-circle journey together, but still...

But still.

I'm so glad you're deciding to write some 'what if' scenarios. In another writer's hands, I'd be skeptic, but I can't wait to see how you breathe life back into one of my favorite couples of all time.

Yeah I'm super psyched about it. Found myself a beta and everything now I just need to make time to write lol. I'm also playing around with the idea of having Duncan survive as well.

She is tired of doing nothing, of always waiting. And now, at last, she is finally ready. Ready to stop waiting and to do because this time it is he who waits for her. She turns to face sky and the edge of nothing and yet everything.

Yes, a wonderful explanation of what is going on just before she jumps.

Pale face squaw no good for Mohican
Just wanted to point out that the Native peoples considered the term "squaw" to be offensive and they would not have used it.

Causing any offense was not my intent. I have changed it as well. I have NO knowledge of native culture (as many americans) so some research is in order (especially for the next fic I'm planning to do).
Thanks for your lovely review!

Hey! Just re-read all of this; gah, still so amazing. I was wondering if you'd ever worked on more of that other story you were talking about (what if they lived...)

Yes I'm still working on it! Life has gotten complicated recently and my writing has been one of the things that has been pushed to the side for the time being. But YES! look for it in the future because I am definitely still working on it.
