Absolution of Summa1little_buddha39December 22 2007, 01:14:30 UTC
REQUIEM
Absolve, Domine, animas omnium fidelium defunctorum ab omno vinculo delictorum et gratia tua illis succurente mereantur evadere iudicium ultionis, et lucis æterne beatitudine perfrui.
EXORCISM
Crux sancta sit mihi lux, non draco sit mihi dux, vade retro satana, nunquam suade mihi vana, sunt mala quae libas, ipse venena bibas
Go now, Summa1, whether it is the Requiem or the Exorcism that free you ... that which you once were, you are no longer - your true substance is now shadow, and this work is but the lees of your better being. Take this body away, take it I say, it is not you.
Now reduced to yearly quotes, I say, where there is no longer a soul I will be that body's absolver, I will be that body's vanquisher.
Therefore,
Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine; In memoria æterna erit justus, ab auditione mala non timebit ...

whoa mate . . I took greek not latin but a general Tract from a requiem is much appreciated. I get it "by the help of Thy grace may I be enabled to escape the avenging judgment and enjoy the happ. of everlasting life etc." thank you but . .I do believe Melville was referring to quite the opposite in matters of the spiritual.

I use 'mate' quite a bit. Im sorry you felt it was patronizing I only write about things that I see or do. Besides I dont have the imagination for fiction. I have no intentions with this journal. But I am very much a real person so my writing is neither consistent or uniform.
I envy the feeling I see in your writing. It gets me a bit out on my indifference. -sam
