I don't think that they'd understand, I just want you to know who I am

I.miss.you.guys. I mean, I'm fine when you're gone, but it's just so much better when you're here. I sort of realized the other day that I've never really fit in so well. I was hazed/ostracized as a young'un, I didn't fit in at Memorial in 4th grade (I was awkward/ didn't know how to socialize), and I never fit in at Brookwood either (damn elitists). I mean, I had good friends all along the way, but it was different. I know I'll make more friends in college, and everything will be great, but you guys are the first and therefore will always be special to me (awwww, lol).

Today was the first day of swim practice, yay! I love it, I love the water. I love exhausting myself. I miss everyone who used to be on the team though, our awesome fun lane. This year it's different, but it's still really fun. Katie Griffith decided to join and so did Jenny Adler, and of course Robin is still here (yay), and Max, and Monica, so it's all good. They changed practice times too, which I sort of don't like, but oh well, it's fine. haha, my lungs are tight right now, and I love it. It's such a good feeling, especially since I've been such a lazy ass and gained weight lately. I think instead of score I'm going to try to get lifeguard certified, and level 1 instructor certified (sailing) if I can pull it off. But anyways...

This is sort of random, but I think that our generation has a lot of obstacles which others haven't had... We are the generation of instant gratification which has more far reaching effects than I'd realized. Well first of all there's the demise of the hand written letter, which is unfortunate. I don't think they'll ever publish a book of someone's sent emails, first of all because it doesn't have the same appeal and second of all because it's kreepy, and there will be no letters to publish. Then there's brain cancer from cell phones (plus the nuisance of having to answer one, lol, not that I would really know). It can also explain things like an obesity epidemic. If you eat really fast, you eat more before you get full. Your body's reaction is not instant. Same thing with drinking. People can have a hard time saving money, because they spend it right away, which makes it harder to invest in things and easier to get into debt. etc. etc. I wonder if I could pull off some sort of an OO (Original Oratory) about this... things to consider. anyways...

Ok well, goodnight, and good morning, and Happy Thanksgiving, and Merry Christmas, and all the rest of it...

hugs, and love to all my dear friends :-)
