I get to play Glinda this week and give a guy so hideous he couldn't possibly look any worse a makeover.  I have one week to do it and he has a total budget of $20, plus whatever his friends chip in, and he wants a makeover to tell a girl who rejected him that he still likes her

Congrats on getting the coolest role!

Hmm, what to do about unibrow man...? Gosh, it's like a low-budget Princess Diaries! Most hair salons (around here at least) also do facial waxing. Brows are only about eight dollars, iirc, and it's a lot faster and less painful that trying to tweeze every little hair. I don't know. D:

The waxing of the unibrow is a must. If possible you can have it threaded which is what I have done to my eyebrows. Personally I think threaders do a way better job of shaping plus the pain is less and no redness afterward. :) For guys you don't want so much shaping done as you want it to not look like Martin Scorsese. So get rid of the uni and then have the waxer trim it up with little scissors if it's a busy mess. They will look 10 times better.

About the clothes, it doesn't matter what you put him in if he is one of those guys who walks through life with the sole purpose of being invisible. So you'll have to get him to stand straight and walk with his head up. As for clothes just make sure whatever he's wearing is fitted to him and in a style he will find comfortable. You can find great things at Thrift shops since your budget is low! :)

Haha, thanks guys. You both rock. He definitely looks much less gross with two eyebrows and a lack of hat hair. The time issue isn't so much an issue now that he's realized he is never going to get this girl to think of him as anything more than a friend.

I actually also managed to convince him that shaving the uni is a really dumb idea.

(And Glinda isn't the coolest role, Nessa is. Nothing beats a pedal-powered wheelchair.)
