Fantastic end to a really wonderful fic! I liked how Rupert and his father were able to come to terms and how, even weak and wounded, Giles would still protect the ones he loved. As much as I'm a mono-shipper, I was sorry how Ethan and Giles couldn't work it out, even though they did bring out the worse in each other. Glad to hear you have more in the works!
Ah, I knew Gran would feature more prominently. Very interesting story. I definitely enjoyed the reveal and the conclusion, with Giles reconciling with his father and returning to the Council under his own volition - as opposed to taking a deal to make the Eyghon incident go away. Nicely done!
Excellent ending to a lovely little series. I'm very much looking forward to your prequel!
I loved the reconciliation you had at the end with his father, and the way you portrayed Edna. Very nice and no-nonsense (reminded me a little of Granny Weatherwax from Discworld in her matter-of-fact-ness!).
I am so sorry I am just now getting around to this- as you know, work has been hell for me lately.
Anyways....loved it, of course. I really enjoyed the conclusion and can't wait for the prequel. Now that all parts are posted, I'll find the time to just read all the parts straight through to get the full effect
