The mere thought of con logistics exhausts me, much less imagining the mixed stress/high of organizing for *and* meeting one's idol at said con, but I'm also fascinated, and not just a little envious at the backstage glimpse into close(r) and (more) personal relations of the seiyuu sort. :) Thank you for sharing the writeup; I'm looking forward to the rest, too!
I'm so SO HAPPY FOR YOU that you got to meet him and even hang out/chat with him a bit. This year's con was so odd, but I'm super-glad you had a great experience here. <3
Wish I could have seen you more, but it's great knowing YOU GOT TO MEET HIM! :D :D :D
I have to say I had the most fun at 2010 since my first Y-con in 05. Everyone working it seemed more relaxed and friendly and the attendees were great.
Okiayu san & Kiuchi san were totally adorable together and really appeared to be having a lot of fun. I kick myself I missed the auction though...
Hopefully Kuichi san returns and I'll have something for him to sign this time... I so spaced that off. (And I'm right there beside you on the painfully shy thing...)
