It's funny being a vegetable cause on the occasion you'll find someone else too that is a vegetable. Then nothing really progesses. That can be good or bad, depending on the situation. But if you are really disciplined to be a vegetable, the other person will eventaully go out of thier comfort zone. Which is good cause we all need to learn to get

don't do things to avoid pain, do things to honour god and then when pain comes you'll find joy and meaning in it,
god is a relational god, he means for relationships to be a blessing for us, so when you look at the potential of a relationship, look at it's potential to draw you closer to the ultimate relationship in your life which is jesus

but are they really regrets? i mean yeah i've made quite a few mistakes but i don't think i regret any of it, not now at least. maybe after i had made the mistake but why regret it? learn from it and hope to heck you don't put yourself in the same situation again, or do and actually be aware of it and realize you need to change and learn from it.

about the things to avoid pain. i agree with you pam. why should our fears hold us back? i mean i know the thoughts and pain of many things but why should that stop me from going forward with something? i guess i've seen my outlook on pain change quite drastically in the past year or so because i've experienced it all too much and yet i'm okay haha or at least i'm getting to the point where there is something to learn out of every experience. isn't that life? learning from mistakes to become a better person for a potential future spouse?
