Here's the summary of track 1/5 for the Saiunkoku Monogatari anime CD drama "Mono Omou Kimi ni Ai no Te wo". I'll post the other parts as I finish them. :D Enjoy!

The track begins with Ryuuki sending Shuurei off to her governorship in Sa Province.

Saiunkoku Monogatari Original Drama CD 2: Mono Omou Kimi ni Ai no Te o

Ryuuki comments that it’s another ordinary day, and Kouyuu retorts that, yes, it’s another ordinary day, since Ryuuki-as always-refuses to get moving and do his work.  Kouyuu asks if Ryuuki is finished with the documents in front of him, and Ryuuki sheepishly replies, “Not yet,” and starts working.

Ryuuki says it’s really the same as always, since the work just keeps coming.  Shuuei agrees and asks if something has happened, seeing the expression Ryuuki is making.

Ryuuki tells them that it’s around the time of day they would usually eat Shuurei’s manjuu and says he wants to eat some immediately.  Shuuei comments that Shuurei has been gone for a long while, while Kouyuu disagrees, saying she hasn’t even been gone for a month yet and tells Ryuuki that she’s been doing her job in that interval.  Ryuuki responds by saying he understands, but he complains of being lonely in this situation, feeling the same way every day.

Kouyuu retorts that of course it’s like that, since it was Ryuuki’s job to send her as the governor in the first place and that it’d be a big problem if he changed his mind.  Ryuuki admits to this being true, but he asks Kouyuu if he’s not lonely, even with Shuurei being absent.  Kouyuu replies that of course he’s not, since he knows that she has things that she’s working to accomplish elsewhere, so what’s there to be lonely about?

Shuuei agrees, saying that someone like Shuurei is needed especially in Sa Province, where she will be capable of many things, but comments that he was sure Kouyuu would be lonely as well.  Kouyuu says that he isn’t lonely, but he’s a little worried, since Shuurei will be really busy and doesn’t have much experience.  Shuuei responds by saying that Shuurei has trustworthy people with her and that she’ll handle everything smoothly.  Ryuuki agrees, saying that he doesn’t think he made a mistake in appointing her as governor, but he wonders why he’s so lonely when Shuurei isn’t in Kiyou.

Shuuei laughs and asks if Ryuuki wants to go meet Shuurei, to which Ryuuki replies that he simply wants to go, even if he can’t meet her.  Kouyuu adds that Sa Province is part of Saiunkoku, and Ryuuki states that since Saiunkoku is his country, he could go. . ., but Shuuei asks him to wait for a little while, since he’s needed in the capital as the emperor, a fact which Kouyuu says Ryuuki can’t forget.  Kouyuu tells Ryuuki that he’s still an inexperienced emperor.

Ryuuki complains about how Kouyuu is always so strict, to which Kouyuu retorts that he wouldn’t have to be that way if a certain person didn’t keep postponing his work.  Shuuei laughs, saying, “He’s honest, isn’t he?”, and Kouyuu tells him to shut up and that he doesn’t need to be saying useless things with that talkative mouth of his.  Shuuei replies that, unfortunately, he’s only quiet when he’s asleep.

Ryuuki interrupts and says that somehow watching Shuuei and Kouyuu bickering like they always do has helped him feel more at ease.  Shuuei accepts the kind words, but Kouyuu snaps that instead of sitting there chattering, Ryuuki needs to hurry up and finish writing all the reports in from of him.  Shuuei says, “Ah, scary, scary,” in response to Kouyuu’s outburst, but Ryuuki says he feels a bit more cheerful and will try his hardest as well.  Kouyuu threatens that he should indeed do just that, and Ryuuki relents.

Ryuuki narrates, conveying that he can neither eat Shuurei’s manjuu at lunchtime nor listen to her play the erhu when night falls.  In Ryuuki’s daily life, little by little, Shuurei’s lingering fragrance is inevitably fading.  On the day of Shuurei’s departure, she had looked his way a bit too determinedly for Ryuuki’s weak heart to bear.

Shouka welcomes Ryuuki, who apologizes for coming at night.  Shouka then offers Ryuuki some of the tea he’s just preparing, and Ryuuki accepts.  Ryuuki comments that it’s quiet; Shouka agrees and says that the tea is ready.  Ryuuki splutters a bit after sipping the tea, reiterates how quiet it is, and remarks that Shouka’s house has never been so quiet.  Shouka replies that the fun times they had had passed quickly.

Ryuuki asks if Shouka is lonely, but Shouka says he’s alright but that the house is a bit too spacious.  Ryuuki replies that despite being lonely, he’s dealing with how he feels and doesn’t regret what he did.  He wonders aloud what Shuurei is doing at that moment, and Shouka answers that she’s probably doing her job.

Ryuuki remarks that Sa Province is an unforgiving place, but Shouka reminds him that Seiran, Ensei, and Eigetsu are there alongside Shuurei.  Ryuuki expresses that he also has confidence in them, so they’ll probably be alright.  Shuurei and the people with her will do something with their own abilities.  Shouka also has faith in them, since everyone is strong.  Ryuuki says that he needs to become stronger and stronger himself.

Ryuuki makes to leave, Shouka asks Ryuuki if he’s going already, and Ryuuki replies yes, since his visit was unexpected, but that he will come again when it’s convenient for Shouka.  Ryuuki apologizes for having entrusted so many difficult things to Shuurei, saying that he also has things he must do.  He says he’ll stop by the next day to visit and have tea, and Shouka replies that he’ll be waiting.

Shouka offers tea to Kurou, who refuses, saying that he’ll have the tea after they talk.  Shouka apologizes for having asked Kurou to wait so long, but Kurou responds that it’s fine, since Shouka had business with the emperor.  He remarks that the emperor often visits Shouka’s house and warns Shouka to be careful in this involvement.

Shouka responds that Kurou is always worrying for his sake, even though Ryuuki has done well about being cautious.  Kurou retorts that he can never see Ryuuki as anyone other than the little boy who would run crying to Shouka.  Shouka laughs and adds that Ryuuki is a kind person, even having anticipated that he would be worried about Shuurei.  Kurou wonders if being kind and being lonely aren’t the same thing in Ryuuki’s case, and Shouka rebukes the coldness of his statement.  Kurou finally accepts the tea.

Shou Taishi and Sou Taifu discuss Shuurei’s appointment as governor and the negative effect her departure has had upon Ryuuki (Sou calls him effeminate for having been the one to send her yet still reacting so dramatically).

Shou makes a dubious comment that things will be getting busy in Sa Province, and Sou suspects that he’s plotting something.  Shou remarks that since Ryuuki is currently feeling very lonely, now would be a perfect time to attempt having him establish a relationship with a woman besides Shuurei.  Sou finds it odd that Shou has taken an interest in the emperor’s affairs, but Shou protests that it’s always been that way.  Shou then tells Sou that he should use his head more often, rather than always relying on the sword; Sou asks what sort of trickery Shou has planned; and Shou whispers to Sou what he’s scheming.

(I kept waffling back and forth over how in-depth to make the summary, so I apologize if it seems to shift in this manner. I'll try to be more consistent? ^^;)
