You and it look cool! I love the colour. :)

I would think bouclé is perfect for scarves, or do you mean it's better suited for knitting? (Both knitting and crocheting belong to a dim and distant past for me.)

well, I found, with the puffy/stretchiness of the boucle, it was hard for me to count stitches and to keep a proper tension/stitch size. But that's probably because I'm a newbie at this.

But, you're right, it was incredibly soft and really nice to have up near my face!

I'm such a dork, but I'm really happy that I created something! :)

Hope you're well!

That's the beauty of that stuff... gekreisch November 21 2008, 06:09:15 UTC

Since it's so fluffy, you can't get too crazy with it, so a miss stitch here and there won't even show up.

When you wash it though, make sure you put it under something heavy to keep it from drying funny. Maybe a plank of wood, that sort of thing. Not shrinking per se you need to keep an eye out, but more getting stretched a bit. You could end up with a narrow, then wide, then narrow, scarf.

And then you'd be Tom Baker. In Boucle.
