What's in a Name?

So I've been thinking about this a lot lately, what's in a name? well especially now, introducing yourself, getting oh that's an unique name, and learning all these people names and for now that is how I identify people. not that with people I do know I ignore their name but you , or me, use it less and less

i love when people, especially a boy im interested in, says my name in normal conversation. it just makes it personal like they're only talking to you. ive made it a habit of saying dougs name all the time when we talk. to yell at him, to reassure him, to be excited to talk to him. granted i toss in babe hun sweetie etc but saying "doug" even feels nice. other than that i dont really use names either. like never oh hello taryne!

no one has my name so far (whoot) and i forget everyones name. ive gotten into the habit of introducing myself and shaking hands and ignoring names not on purpose but bc ill forget in 10 mins anyway.
