Too much credit
I didn't want to give this break up too much credit in my life, which is not so bad. I've been doing alright with it all. you probably feel like he was so amazing, and you love him so that adds to it, and you probably feel like the next guy might not match up, you might not love him as much, you might not want to love him. it might be too different from steve, from the familiar, from what you love.
but you're right, you do need/want more things out of the relationship that he couldnt give you. a few little things would be enough to slide, but you have a list of little things, and have cried over so many big things.
not sure where im going with this, but, there will come a time when you meet a new boy, and just the experience of being with steve will help you realize if you want anything to do with him or not, you'll notice the little flaws that steve never had, and you'll notice the things that steve never gave you.
which will be fascinating in theory.
anyway, just general babling more than advice but hey, looks like you've got your head on straight and getting by, so yea.
