Dude. totally OT, but what's the deal with your phone? I tried to call today to tell you about the post in my journal before I posted it, but I kept getting that the number was not in service...
My Number changed. Sorry I really have not been up on that at all. It changed Friday and even like Brian's mom had to call my mom to get our number to call us!
Responding over here from clothdiapering post. I do not have your email addy. Haha!
I do not have a pic of the cover on my son. I will take one tomorrow. I have these pics of my covers. http://pics.livejournal.com/smurfetts_lamb/gallery/0001pkyw?page=2 Obviously the last pictures there. I'll get more pics so I can figure this out. I am loving making these.
Oh I see! with that pattern it is going to make those kind of poofy lol but it is okay! Does top stiching help or does that just make them wick? Do you own a serger or are you using a regular machine? Give me some details. they are hella cute.
I'm using my singer machine. No serger. I was afraid to tops stitch in case it does wick. I will top stitch the next one and test it. They are very simple, cotton outter, PUL inner with the elastic in the middle. I made them inside out leave one of the side curves open to flip it. How would you change my pattern to make it less? I should have used one of your covers to make my pattern but I don't actually own one at the moment. (yes I suck but I have my budget and diaper covers are silly to buy when I can sew.)
I can live with the poof because they work as good as your covers do but I thought you might have a possible solution.
i have more but my bf needs to change my bandage. respond and i'll be back. mwahahaha!

Yeah, I have a little phobia of dolls and ventriloquist dummies, especially when they "come to life".
