The brain is an organ too. Just a more complex one than the heart.

To know or not to know, that is the question. And I know I can't answer it, as you know, since I've told you. I am sorry that you found out the hard way.

And this was an utterly pointless comment, I know that.

I have no clue what you're talking about, except that it sounds an awful lot like my own situation, in which case I am very sorry to hear it. (I'm sorry anyway, but otherwise can't empathize as well.) I don't think I'd agree, though, that knowing is as bad as not knowing. Maybe if neither one will affect anything you could say that, but if it has a bearing on your feelings or your future course of action, it's best to have the answers. It also depends on how bad the reality is and how bad the possibilities you imagined were. Heh, I still don't have all my own answers myself, so maybe my views on knowing and not knowing will change with experience, or maybe not. I do hope you at least have all your answers, even if they are painful ones; partially knowing is not a very fun option either.

And yes, feeling (the metaphorical heart) and reason both exist in the brain and are not completely secluded from one another therein.
