haha, that was great! And, I just read Colby's quote. Life isn't pain, it can be, people get all dramatic and say it is, but I tell ya, life can be the most fucked up or the most perfect and easy thing in the world, it depends on the person.

agreed. however, the quote is just so perfect....also, no ones quite as Zen as you, Sierra, so generally people have a different view of things (though as you know, i tend to agree with you more often)

Hahaha, yeah, I know right? LOL. I didn't really mean perfect, I just mean that in one way or other, everyone create their own reality, you know?

life is ever perfect or easy? What kind of fantasy do you live in

Not that life doesn't have wonderful, soaring, enjoyable moments. But perfect? And especially easy?

I think there are a lot of factors involved. The guy may be out of money and have no other way to get it easily. As you say he may be greedy. He also does have a justifiable complaint against the hospital for what they did to him. Yes, they ended up giving him a in many ways happy life for those two years, but they also caused a great deal of anxiety and suffering over that same time period and they messed up his future. If I were in his position, I don't know if I'd sue or just be happy to get my life back and forgive the error, but I can see where he's coming from. I have always held that while believing falsehoods can bring us temporary happiness and benefits, in the end we aren't usually happy with the whole affair, and I would say that is the case in this man's story.

"Ignorance is bliss" is a saying that i have always maintained needed to die. whoever said it was an idiot. as for the rest, i agree, i know theres a million and forty factors i left out. humanity in general just...continues to intrigue and perplex me

depends what you're ignorant of. Also if you choose to be ignorant of it.
