'Tea'
A short story from summeriris about the perils of being conquerors.

It was a small working man’s café on a little side street in the heart of London. Trade most days was slow, and Jenny Mullen who had worked there for twenty five years like to say that it was falling asleep and one day would simply not open.

Iknow, I'm so ashamed. I was just kind of thinking about the Death Eaters at work and how they were coping and it wrote itself. I might tweak it.

I really liked this. It was crack but hilariously IC crack if that can make sense. Lucius organising it all and most of the Death Eaters mostly only being good at Death Eater activities. And the dead house elves and tea lady making a huge problem for Bellatrix and Lucius made me laugh and feel very smug at the same time.

Thank you, I have never written a piece of fan fiction before. Probably will never write one again. I don't know where it came from. I was just sitting here musing.

Here by way of your link on HMS STFU, and just for the record I adored your sporks on DAYD, which I had started reading because everybody was talking about it, and then stopped because... it gave me a sick, leaden feeling. The militaristic posturing was the least of it, which is saying something. You nailed What Went Wrong, so thank you.

As for this delightful little vignette... yes, the aristocratic conquerors are Hopeless, which is to say like unto management everywhere, only more so. Excellent, and I'd love to see more.
