Nope, not a cut. Not a burn, at least not exactly. And I did not drop a giant pan of creampuffs on my big toe, as my sister did in college. I have, it seems, pepper sprayed myself.

You may wonder how a kitchen genius such as myself could allow such a thing to happen, and also how much it hurts. In response to the first question... I have a bag of ( Read more... )

I have a phone number! You can just call me on my actual phone! I will post my phone number in a separate post (just for you!). In a couple of hours. Must run to class at the moment!

I've had a similar experience, and it wasn't fun either. I don't remember the details, but it was cayenne pepper after everyone in my house was sleeping, and they all woke up once I started screaming (I've been teargassed too, and that didn't seem as bad). Strangely, I've read about cayenne being used intentionally to clear up the bloodshot appearance of eyes, like instead of eye drops!! You're lucky to know how to make Ethiopian food yourself...

well, I just kind of wing it. I asked a woman in the Whole Foods near Reep about something I ate there, and she gave me some tips. It's definitley not from Chile, that's for sure! And sorry to hear about the cayenne. I think maybe I got just a little tiny bit in my eyes. Still wasn't pretty, but the teargas swelled up my whole face!
