comment if it would change your life in any way if I were to go friends only. I know I have a friend in Toronto who would have to get an account. Am I missing anyone else? Would it make any difference in your life? I have been feeling like going friends only

It wouldn't bother me in the least, though that probably goes unsaid. And I'd like to mention that if there really *is* a way to turn the whole thing friend's only in one sitting, I'll be really pissed, because it took me hours to go back and lock mine one by one. :-P Anyway, hope you find it!

I don't think there is a way to make all your previous entries friends-only in one fell swoop without downloading something. I didn't read the whole page but here's the FAQ answer about it.

I read! But don't think I'm friended.

As far as locking all entries, I read the same FAQ then downloaded a tool that someone had written. It's not endorsed by livejournal because there is always the chance that it could wipe out some if not all entries. That said, I used it and it worked fine.
