if you mean the atm next to star (i believe it's cambridge savings bank?) that's sum and has never charged me, so if that one charged you i'm confused. otherwise, that's the closest sum one i know of and hopefully shouldn't charge you. but yeah, that is pretty assholish for there to be sum banks with non-sum atms.

yeah, i haven't yet figured out where a SUM ATM in Porter is; my solution (when pressed for time) has been to buy a candy bar at star with my debit card and ask for cash back.

...there are two Cambridge Savings Bank ATMs in Porter (one next to Shaws, the other next to CVS). Now, I'm a customer of that bank so of course I don't get charged, but I also know that the bank is part of the SUM network. There's no way their own ATMs aren't, right? (I mean, the Wainwright bank in Davis's ATM is not SUM, even though the bank itself is, but I'm almost certain that these CSB ones in Porter are.)

I feel like I've tried the one next to the CVS and been disappointed, but I honestly can't recall too well now. Now that I know where to look, maybe next time I'll win.
