How do you pronounce 'coulis'? Clarification: I'm asking how you pronounce it, not how one pronounces it. I wish wish wish that it didn't sound stuffy and artificial to use 'one', because now I have to clarify what I mean when I say or write 'you'.

I do not pronounce this word. In fact, I didn't know what it meant until a few seconds ago.

if i had to, i would probably say 'coo-lee', give or take some frenchified vowels. but i'd probably just call it sauce and be done.

Coo-lee, emphasis on the first syllable.

Agreed on the one vs. you point. The pronoun "on" in French basically means "one" (it could mean "it" as well, but I've noticed use tends more towards the "one"-like use) and I wish English had a similar sort of pronoun.

Couldn't help, I had to look it up to even know what it was. My german background I guess.

Coo lee, roughly. A bit more French than that probably reads to an English-speaking-only audience.
