You know I can see how some folks might read it as sexual, but to me it's talking about becoming yourself before you start seriously looking for someone to share your life with. If you go with the surface of the metaphor, its kinda sexual but as with any metaphor a deeper look is needed. I like it a lot. It kinda talks about where I am right now too.

Sorry if I butted in but it really caught my interest.

You know Buffy, it occurs to me that maybe who we're looking for is still 'becoming' themselves. I guess we have to be patient, but damn that wait can be hard and lonely sometimes.
