In which emails are exchanged

To recap: Buffy and Kara had this conversation.

Kara followed up with this email to Connor.

Connor sent this reply to Buffy.

Connor --

Wow. Um --

*since the discussion occurred in public comments, Buffy considers referring Connor there for the sake of her own defense. On the other hand, she's reluctant to make it quite so obvious that Kara is cyberstalking him, although Kara has done a decent job of that herself*

Actually, I think she's sort of serious. She's worried that if you're locking her out of her posts that it means you are talking about her. I told her that it's a normal sibling sort of thing to do, that Dawn and my stepbrother and I do it all the time, but she didn't seem convinced. Then I said if she wanted to know she should ask you. So -- I guess that's what she means about me telling her to do it.

I really can see why she's worried because girls her age, especially, gossip behind each other's backs all the time. It's probably a sign of how much she values your opinion despite pointedly leaving you off the list of her 50 favorite people.

On the other hand. . .*veg* I suppose it might teach her a lesson about asking a direct question, if I acted like you answered it to my satisfaction. Food for thought.

Just. . .promise me you'll have a talk with her eventually?

PS -- Archaeology sounds great as long as, you know, when you get to one of the tombs that has a big "cursed" sign on it, you pay attention. Did you ever meet my friend Xander? He dated an Inca artifact once. It was interesting. And sort of unfortunate.

Now, Buffy writes to Kara.

Hey Kara!

I just got the sweetest e-mail from Connor. I guess you told him that we were wondering about the whole "private posts" thing and whether those were his grocery lists, or what, and he explained the whole thing to me. Once he said it, it made total sense why those posts were locked. What a relief! You were making me a little paranoid there, and it turns out I had nothing to worry about.

Gotta go!
