Going friends-only

Jan 28, 2006 13:55

I've decided to make my journal friends-only so the whole wide world isn't reading my life story. If you'd like to be added, please comment to this post.

You'll see old posts start to disappear as I have time to edit them to friends-only.

Because I've created a very personal journal, and people from other areas of my life (work and skateboarding) are starting to read it. I've said enough personal stuff about my sexuality and my innermost tickings and the fact that I've named names and given details makes me nervous about just anybody reading it.

I'm considering starting a public blog, maybe someplace other than LJ, to talk about skateboarding and my work. For people interested in that stuff specifically, the personal wierdness dilutes it. I'm not interested in doing technical posts here... talking about data connections for InfoPath on the server is for my public persona. This is the inner me, almost like stream of consciousness.

Arrgh, it's 2:42 AM and my brain is fried.

That's a bummer. It's not really in your nature to reign things in. :) But I hope this gives you peace of mind.

Would love to be on whatever filters you deem appropriate.

Yep, you're everywhere at the moment, except the posts I've marked private (the ones that were formerly my "erotic" filter).
