I stabbed my thumb in the cuticle with a fork when I was washing dishes earlier.

It is swollen and hurts.

Quite a lot.

I shot a staple into my thumb last week at work while securing a piece of foamboard onto someone's frame. But I am sure yours hurts a lot worse. The staple didn't really hurt much. Just scared me.
