We adopted them from our local humane society.
Unfortunately, our landlord requires that we get them declawed. While I disagree with declawing, I think it is better that they have homes than claws.

There is supposed to be a new declawing procedure that is supposed to be much kinder than cutting off kitty fingers. I'll see if I can find some info about it for you. I just read about it the other day.
