Who knew a pink little dog could cause so much frenzy. I was going to do the new years meme and realized the first sentences of all my entries are entirely boring. When he was sick the main thing he worried about, more than himself, was if you and your mom would be okay and his only hesitation about going to DC was not being able to see you as often. Really, he cared about you guys more than anything.

of course he loved you very much. dave used to talk to me about you even before he knew he was sick, back when we were roommates, and before that too. we were talking about our siblings, and he told me about you and then smiled and said 'liz is pretty cool'. i think he was very proud of you.
