So looking back on what could've been isn't always sad, I learned today. Always a touch bittersweet, but it doesn't have to be depressing. Today, for example, I had a really interesting exchange with Kaitlyn, who I've had classes with since 7th grade, but never really talked to except in passing, if that. For me, the things that could have been play out like a movie in my head, sometimes with great beauty, sometimes with great sadness.

she told me about that, and im glad. it weirded me out a bit that she hadnt ever talked to you because every time i would mention you, it was like "ok michael i dont know him so why are you telling me this" and it sucked.
