So I just finished reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and while I don't usually look to novels for theological perspective, Brown gives one of the best explanations of the problem of pain that I've encountered so far.  (A little background: Chartrand is a young Lieutenant serving in the elite Swiss Army that protects Vatican City and the pope.

That is really interesting. I have yet to read anything so simply yet profoundly explaining the problem of pain in our lives and faith. :) Thanks for taking the time and effort to share that Sofi. I really like that quote and it has peaked my interest in that book.
