I think I've decided to apply to the Amalfi Coast Music Festival this summer. It got very good evaluations in the Classical Singer forums, and it came at the recommendation of a friend's voice teacher. Hi! I'm a junior in high school and I'm looking for a college with a great musical theatre program that has a summer theatre program. I really wanted to go to Carnegie Mellon's summer theatre program but I live in New York and my parents are resisting the idea of me going 5 hours away for 6 weeks. Any suggestions?

The subject is what this post is all about. I'm looking for music programs that are incredible but won't cost an arm and leg for all of us jobless, inschool singers!

Has anyone heard or done the Austrian American Mozart Academy? They're affiliated with Univ of Texas- Austin, and one of the orchestral conducting students at my school (Univ of Michigan) is involved.. that's how I heard about it.
