I hard a fascinating story on NPR this morning regarding online role playing games. For those unfamiliar with the games, you play a character that you can build up and collect items for throughout the game. It was a good day Friday. I had a meeting in the afternoon with one of Dad's clients that went well. Then I joined the Financial Planner's Association, which is good because it means I can go to their meeting on the 15th about Medicare Part D (which is so confusing. And I got invited today to be the accordionist in a travelling, Celtic Rock band that pays good money per gig as well as travelling expenses. If only I didn't have a real job, or if I was a free-spirit like foxy_brown4, then that would certainly be a lot of fun.
